1. SEBACS shall be governed by the latest version of the ARBA rules. https://arba.net/official-arba-show-rules-
2. By submitting animal entries to SEBACS, you agree to the rules of both the ARBA and SEBACS.
3. ALL show entry fees must be paid before the start of the show - even if you are unable to attend. (In case of emergency, please contact the show secretary immediately.) Failure to pay entry fees may result in denial of entries for future shows.
4. At no time shall entry fees be refunded - even in the event of incorrectly listed ear numbers, sex, variety, no-show, and DQ.
5. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to read check-in sheets and ensure accuracy. All errors must be corrected BEFORE the posted deadline.
6. Habitual violation of show rules will result in denial of entries for future shows.
7. Show age groups will be Open and Youth per the ARBA rules.
8. All youth entries must be carried to the show table by a youth.
9. Open exhibitors do not have to carry their own animals to the show table.
11. Each breed will be called for 3 times. If your rabbits are not on the table shortly after the third call, the judging will proceed. Entry refunds will not be issued for animals that do not make it to the table in time for judging.
12. Best in Show judging will be announced before starting. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to bring their Best of Breed winners to the table when called.
13. All show participants are expected to act in a professional, courteous, and kind manner for the duration of the show. Harassment, interfering with judging, writing, secretary work, or behaving poorly/inappropriately by you and/or your children will not be tolerated and will result in your expulsion from the show and forfeiture of all entries and fees.
14. Children are the responsibility of the parents or guardians, not the show committee.
- If you or your child break or cause damage to something belonging to someone else, the show, or the venue, you will be responsible to pay for or replace that item.
- Running and horseplay are not allowed at the show.
- Do not sit on tables. Sit only in designated areas.
15. If your children are misbehaving and you are unable or unwilling to correct their behavior, you may be expelled from the show. In the event of your expulsion, you and your children must vacate the premises immediately. All entries will be scratched. You will receive no more than 2 warnings before you are expelled from the show.
16. Only rabbits, cavies, and service dogs are allowed in the showroom. No service dogs in training, no pet dogs, no cats, no pigs, no birds, snakes, or other animals.
17. Per ARBA rules, any animals exhibiting signs of illness will be quarantined and/or removed from the venue.
- Rabbits disqualified for illnesses will not be allowed to exhibit in the subsequent shows.
18. All carriers must have a solid leak-proof base.
19. You are expected to keep your area clean.
20 Do not throw trash, paper towels, etc. on the floor. Trash bins will be available, please use them.
21. Cage bedding, wool, etc… must be cleaned up before exhibitors leave. Leaving litter inside or outside the building may result in being banned from future shows.
22. All individuals vending or selling items must be pre-approved before the show.
23 Selling rabbits and cavies is allowed as long as:
a) The animals are at least 8 weeks of age.
b) You have entered animals into the show.
c) You have notified SEBACS of your intent to sell.
24. The show officials will select judges, the judging order, and have the right to change judges and judging order as necessary.
25. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted in the showroom or on the show premises.
26. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.All litter, including butts, must be disposed of appropriately and should not be thrown on the ground.
27. Awards will be given per ARBA guidelines. All awards must be collected before the conclusion of the show. Awards will not be mailed.
28. The Exhibitor shall save, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify SEBACS from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, and costs of whatsoever kind and nature for injury to or death of any person or animal and for loss of or damage to any property occurring in connection with or in any way related to SEBACS, its shows, its employees or agents.
